Keekai's gift suggestions

Somebody asked me a couple of days back on the best possible anniversary gift. All of a sudden, i was immediately teleported to my personal wawa-land-time-space warp of memories. As i regress, i recalled and realized that gift context is more memorable and scored higher on my thought-feeling euphoria scale than the gift itself no matter how expensive or pathetic those things were. Take for example the jeans my ex bought for me on one occassion. This just triggers really good memories such as remembering the reason behind the jeans (which btw was an indirect way of telling me not to wear those skimpy short skirts i always so loved putting on).

Another ex gave me so much brick-a-bracks-thingammajiggers that are really nice. But then when i found out that he doesn't normally buy those personally but asks his mom to do so instead (ampf, that momma's boy! bah!), it was a major stike-off against him! But then, i couldn't really forget when after a freaky fight and major scene along taft avenue, he gave me a shrub which he just picked from a parking lot garden as a sign of his apologies.

But to name among the sweetest things given to me, the baguio sunflower ranks the most from my close friend-friend. Out of the blue, on our way back to Manila, he jolted my friend to stop the car immediately on the highway beside the bangin. All these commotion just to get me those sunflowers i really adore. Tied to the top spot was the small thingies my friendliest-friends gives me everytime he drops by my office such as a piece of lollipop, a bar of chocolate, and turon.

See its not really the stuff but the context and so the cliche goes: It's the thought the counts. It really does!

1. an anniversary monito-monita. hey, who ever said you can only do that on christmas??)
2. a video compilation of your memories, what other people say about the 2 of u as a couple, etc.
3. a live performance. it's actually even funnier but sweeter when ur so baaad at doing those.
4. a special recipe and demonstration of your cooking prowess.
5. slave/master day (hehehe evul grin)
6. a trip to place/s you haven't been, memorable, or u have always been planning to go.
7. a hobby ie. cooking, dancing, singing class for improvement or personal satisfaction
8. name a star (not necessarily registered to the solar star ek ek association) and call it your star
9. a tattoo (why not??)
10. someting matching
11. a spa or relaxation trip or a trip to the salon
12. a plant or a pet
13. a strip dancer!! whooohooo (be it u or someone else hehehe) nasty!
14. a good meal treat not for the both of you silly... for your friends! afterall you have to thank them somehow for contributing to your relationship's success.
